Isa Chandra Moskowitz is a famous author and chef of best-selling Vegan cookbooks.
She’s invited by Breville to demonstrate how to make a simple Vegan Ice Cream using the Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker
She’s very funny and engaging and starts off the demonstration with a joke: “This recipe is for 4 people. It’s not just for me. I promise.”
She uses cashew nuts as a cream base and rice milk as a milk replacment.
She mixes them together in a blender along with pumpkin puree,
sugar, sea-salt, vanilla, corn syrup, olive oil
and some pumpkin pie spice (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and all spice).
When she’s done, she places the mixture into the ice cream machine and lets it churn.
She recommends placing the finished product in the freezer to let it become harder, as it’s currently in a soft-serve consistency.
